Guild Wars 2

Before the “Guard” shout was changed, it allowed a pet to guard an area instead of following the player.

Is there any way to get this to happen since the change? Some way to get your pet to stop moving and just stay somewhere?

No.

Well you can put it passive and it will stay by your side forever.
