Guild Wars 2

So been playing for a little, retried Warrior for a little longer and pretty much got a feel for every class. (except for elementalist, never liked mages in any other games)

the 5 classes i enjoyed the most atm are (the * meens they are my 2 favorite

*Ranger
*Engineer
Theif
Necromancer
Warrior

Just wondering how the community would rate these guys based on their reliability in

sPvP
WvW (one thing to note i feel like im gonna like roaming the most)
and PvE (aka do they solo well, and do people like to have them in parties for dungeons and stuff?)

But from my experience:

PvP and PvE:
All Classes do very well!

I’ll give them a number from 1 to 5. It’s just to have a general idea of course.

It wasn’t totally fair giving a 0 to necros in roaming. In an organized (baby-sitting) group, I’d give them a 4.

What about post dec 10th patch? I feel like the warrior is gonna be a lot weaker in the pvp aspect than where they are now.

I won’t give them a rank because it depend on the build and the player that play it. Also and more importantly i don’t think nobody have enough knowledge of more than 1 or 2 professions. I have a level 80 of all profession, but except my Guardian and Engineer i don’t know all the build possible for all profession. Even for Guardian and Engineer i don’t so. I will only give you which class are particularly good at it. The rest of the profession are still good, just less.

No answer here. My condition damage Engineer can blast through most of these profession, but i can also got kitten by them. It depend so much on the player skills and its build. All profession can be really good or really bad.

Not really. Only hammer warriors and hambow are getting nerfed. Other builds are actually getting buffed. Personally i play condi warr and its awesome

I lol’d when I saw a lot of these, you can’t really put a valid number on the classes for each aspect, but if you were going to, youd have to take all the viable builds into consideration.

Only viable ranger in tpvp is spirit ranger, 2 viable wars, thats stunlock and condi tank. Thief aint a 1 cause they can be great roamers, but I also wouldnt bump them up to the top by any means.

Zerging I dont do tons of but cant see war being a 5 as engi is 1? Engi has nades…

Roaming id say is pretty fair except necros can be nore of a 3 or 4 depending on builds.

And for dungeons I lol’d at engi and necro, they both have great cc, aoe dmg, aoe condis, and only valuable war is a zerker.
