Razer Product Recommendations?
Don’t buy Razer stuff is my recommendation, they’ve really gone downhill since the older stuff you’re using.
For a keyboard, buy a decent mech. You can get a TT Esports Poseidon Z for $56 shipped right from Best Buy; Razer’s keyboards are way too expensive for having Kailh switches, and have been reviewed commonly as feeling inconsistent. Their rubberdome boards are laughably overpriced, if you go rubberdome just buy something cheap from Logitech.
For a headset, get a separate mic+headphones or something like Kingston HyperX Clouds (which are rebranded Takstar Pro80s with an attached mic).
Mouse, go with whatever you want I guess. Again, Razer’s build quality is lacking these days but at least their mice are priced somewhat competitively on sale.
But definitely don’t go Razer for headset/keyboard, you’re legitimately just throwing away money.

I use the Razer Orbweaver, Naga 2015 and Kraken Pro headset.
I really like them, and think they’re totally worth the price. They’re top notch quality, and ive never had any issues with them. For ergonomics, they’re absolutely excellent. I have Carpel Tunnel Syndrome (uncontrollable shaking) in some of my fingers and it really helps, in fact, since using the Naga and Orbweaver, I don’t get my carpel tunnel doesn’t occur when im on the computer.
One note about the orbweaver however, you will need to do some DIY with it, because the glue they use to glue on the hand grips is a bit weak, so eventually it will go really tacky and it will begin to slip, so you’ll need to remove it and replace it with a hand grip you’ve made, or you’ll have to re-glue it on with something like No More Nails or Cellulose Base Modelling Glue.

I’m sorry to say, but that’s not quite right, especially for their keyboards. “Their” switches are lacking in quality and they charge a premium that would allow you to get actual Cherry switches for the same/a similar price.

It’s a shame to hear Razer quality has gone down. What happened exactly?
Perhaps I’ll checkout the “TT Esports Poseidon Z” which seems close enough to the Anansi without all extra unnecessary gimmicks. As for the headest “Kingston HyperX Clouds”, how would you rate the comfort? I have a small-medium size head so I often come across the problem where they are either too loose or incredibly restricting and painful to wear for more than an hour or 2.

I’ve always been curious about the Orbweaver/Tartarus gaming keypads, but I never understood what its exact purpose was. I don’t mind doing some manual keybinding, but there still doesn’t seem like theres enough buttons on it to cover everything. Also, is the top left rectangular button supposed to act as the space button and circle pad the mouse?

I’d say iffy QC, mostly, and some of their stuff is pretty cheaply made/not too robust; their mice often seem to have issues lasting more then a year and the headphones are pretty flimsy.
To be completely honest, the price is what stops me from recommending a lot of their stuff (read: keyboards). Besides their Tournament board (which actually seems to be all right pricewise, but I’d rather get a Noppoo Lolita Spyder for a bit less), you can get a board with higher quality/more features for the same price, especially in the Blackwidow Ultimate pricerange.

The Poseidon (linked to the exact deal I was talking about) is actually a mechanical keyboard, which is a huge step up from your rubberdome Anansi. It’s a pretty well built board, Kailh switches but priced appropriately and mine doesn’t have any issues.
It has clicky tactile keys, which may or may not be your cup of tea. They’re awesome to type on but can be annoying to people nearby. I’d recommend looking at this if you’re looking to spend a decent bit of money on a keyboard; it’ll help you make an informed decision.

I actually just mentioned them because they’re a decent set of headphones masquerading as a headset, but I do honestly have a pair. They’re pretty nice; they’re a bit heavy, but solidly built. I felt like they were pretty tight when I first got them (upgrading from a pair of Steelseries Siberia V2s), but I got used to the weight and they stretched somewhat pretty quickly. I’m 5’11, 160lb with an average sized head (I guess) and they’re comfortable; they can adjust to smaller heads, so I think you’d be all right.
I felt that the audio quality was a bit of a step down from my Siberias, but apparently these need to burn in a bit, so I was never able to do a direct comparison. I got them because I was about to buy Takstar Pro80s, but they didn’t offer 2 day shipping (which I needed at the time) and I would need a mic with the Pro80s anyways, so the HyperX headset was actually a cheaper option.
The head-fi buying guide is a good place to start when it comes to finding headphones; the site also has a lot of reviews on different headsets.
I sort of realized that I specifically recommended a couple of products that I own/use (not completely intentionally… the sale on the Poseidon Z really is a good price), so you might want to take my specific recommendations with a grain of salt. Do some research and make your decisions based on that instead of just listening to me/anyone on here or going to buy based on brand loyalty (unless you want to; that’s fine, but checking out other options is always a good idea).
Sorry for typing so much, I tend to ramble a bit… Basically, check out all of your options, since it’s the best way to get the most for you money. But if you want Razer stuff, just buy it if you like them; you can just generally do better for the same cash.

No problem, I’m a bit of a newb when it comes to tech stuff so I normally go for name brands or whatever is the most expensive (assuming it must be better). Budget wise I’m not too worried about the cost, all in I’m willing to spend around ~ $300 max for something high quality and will last me at least a good couple years of casual use.

Being willing to pay for quality is a good first step, now you just need to be sure of what you’re buying. Most good stuff is better, but being expensive doesn’t necessarily make something good, especially with computer parts. $300 should be able to get you good quality stuff all around, so good luck shopping adn I hope you find stuff you like!

I’m fairly new to the Razor world. The only thing I really own from them is the Naga Razor 2014.
I’ve gone through various computer mice, and I’d have to say this one is the most comfortable and tehcnologically compatable mouse I’ve owned. I’ve owned various wired and wireless mice is the past, but all of the wireless mice usually failed around the one year mark of owning them.
The Naga Razor 2014 is great because it’s compatable with both my MacBook Pro and my Desktop. I usually use my MacBook Pro for smaller things like the dailies, and I’ll switch to my desktop for the bigger things depending on how much time I have to play. I’ve owned some gaming mice that said they were compatable with my MacBook but weren’t.
The mouse also has a fairly decent weight to it, and it has an amazingly comfortable grip. I’ve never owned the older Naga so I can’t really compare the two on the grip.
I also use the tilting side-to-side scroll wheel feature to walk from side to side as opposed to pressing the Q and E buttons on my keyboard. I believe this is one feature that doesn’t exist in the old Naga if I read that right.
Overall though it’s a good quality mouse, and it was definitely worth the money spent. =P
I just ordered the corded 2014 Naga and hopefully the quality hasn’t gone down too much from the old version. I’ve just become too accustomed to the extra 12 thumb buttons that I don’t think I could ever go back to a standard mouse. I’d considered the Logitech version, but I always find myself disappointed in their build quality.

I actually set A+D for strafing and use Q+E for other skill keybinds. The titling features seems like a neat addition so I’ll give it a shot and see if that works better, but is there a way to disable it if I don’t like it?

Yup. You can choose to assign the tilt feature to any buttons that you like. Before I used it it was actually set to ~+Shift for left and NumLock for right so it never interfered with my gameplay. I think there may actually be a way to disable it completely if you just leave the key assignments to it blank.
I actually owned the Mad Catz T.E. Tournament Edition before the Naga Razor, and I enjoy the Naga much better. The Mad Catz T.E. had multiple issues with it. It was not Mac compatable for one, and that was one of my bigger issues. It was also much to light and kept sliding, and the scroll wheel was not very easy to use. The grip also became uncomfortable after a while. I ended up sending it back because they still to this day have not released the software for Mac even though their product states that it is Mac compatable.
Edit: I just checked my Razor Synapse to see if you can disable it, and yes you can. You can disable certain buttons you do not like completely, and you can always reset it to default. You also have the option to create differerent builds for your mouse. =P
