If you like to play different sorts of builds everyday, how do you go about changing your traits?

Say I’m exploring with a friend, using Explosives and Firearms traits, then someone asks if we want to join them for a dungeon. So I want to change my trait trees to something else.

Do I have to go to Training NPC every-time I want to change my trait trees? Is there a easier way? And it’s very expensive to do it as often as I’d like, do you have any tips to make it cheaper?

It’s just like that.
My main issue was having the perfect build for PvE and WvWvW without changing trait points.

It takes time but you may come up with something your happy with

I have lots of builds I’m happy with.
But I play different ones all the time, I don’t want to stick with just one setup because it’s boring to me. I like to change depending on what I feel like doing at that moment.

So say I might be changing trait-trees once or twice a day. I must go to Training NPC each time?

you can buy multiple books to save you the trip to the trait extortionist. But at this point you have to pay the trait tax.

Maybe if we complain long enough they will ‘fix’ it like they did with GW1 refund points.

Thanks Grim, that’s good to hear I can carry books around. Does that mean I will have to buy a Grandmaster each time (I’m lv 61)? Or can I buy an Adept and just reset 10 points from all trees? Or buy a Master book and reset 20 points?

You really don’t want to use the books as they are so expensive. Better just reset with the NPC (3,5 silvers).
Though I don’t know how the cheapest books works or remember its price.
