Red ranged weapon trails?
It’s The Predator – the legendary rifle.

So this guy made his predator to look like a primordus? Also i saw a guy with a bow with a red trail not too long ago.
So what you’re saying is there is no other way to change the colour of your autoattack trail?
:O
The only way to change the skill animation is using a legendary weapon. All other normal weapons don’t have any special animation.
P.S. How do you know it’s a Primordus rifle?

oh. welp.
and i saw the guy with the red trail in the citadel of flame dung. I asked him what rifle it was and he said the primordus, which is strange since i also own a primordus
So if the case that it is an ascended wep with a skin, Which ascended rifles give off the red trail when fired? or does it apply to all of the rifles.
Check both links if they fit what you saw:

And no, ascended weapons don’t have special skill animations.

Sortof. So the predator has a purple trail? Now to try find out which has the red and begin the hunt. I also didnt mean skill animations, that would be something completely different. I just mean when you tell it to auto attack and such.
So if a legendary is reskinned it keeps it’s original projectile and footfall effect?
What if you apply the legendary skin to another random weapon?

No, it has a red/orange trail. Wiki seems to be inaccurate. https://youtu.be/SsWsD7hUlzo?t=1m30s
Edit: I cross referenced it, and it seems someone put in a troll image for the projectile effect, as the purple sparkly trail belongs to the Bifrost.

Now i wont disagree that it looks killer but from the one i saw its completely different. There was no special effect for the projectile, that was the same as a non legendary, but the colour of the trail was a dark redish. I couldn’t also detect any extra sounds, despite riding the guys kitten in the dungeon trying to figure out at the time what it was.
Looks like i’m going to need to keep an eye out if i see any other like that and pm them asking about it.

Well thats just a shame.

A screenshot would have made things a lot simpler.
That would have been good aye but it hadn’t crossed my mind at the time, if /when i see it again ill be sure to try take one
Okay so, your account name…..what the hell?
Okay so, your account name…..what the hell?
My thoughts exactly.

Is there a way to report an account name on forums?
All I can find is report post.
Rather than help with the question you would rather complain about my name? okay.
Given that i thought it was just the account name and not the forum name
*Edit. I think i figured out the red streak from rifles/bows and such, messing about with my grenade kit might have solved it for me, when throwing the fragmentation nades that inflict bleeding they had a red trail when throw so im thinking that the trail is based off wether it causes bleed or not, even still from what i’ve been told the ascended/legendary rifles have a coloured projectile trail.

The #1 on rifle for a warrior does include a very dark red trail. It is the default trail. It is there even with the 64c Mighty Rifle.
