I’m aware they reset daily which I presume is when daily achievements reset but, are you able to do a puzzle on one character and then do the same puzzle in the same day again and get rewards again? To be straight with you I’m wondering if its possible to farm the WvW eternal battle grounds dungeon.

You can do each puzzle with each character. Each puzzle resets on a 24 hour basis from when your character LAST did the puzzle*. NOT when the daily resets. That’s something people get confused about. I would suggest always checking the borderlands puzzle before doing the EB puzzle just in case so that you do not waste time to only find that it didn’t reset yet. But it works for all the jumping puzzles. Yes. And if you were to server transfer, you can do all the puzzles again with each character and deleting a character and creating a new one will work too in that regard.

are you sure? I did a jumping puzzle 2 hours before the reset and while helping someone else was able to collect the chests again after the reset, not 24 hours. maybe it was a bug that time though, I don’t re-do the puzzles often so can’t really say

I do believe its reset as Ive rotated from doing it around 9pm (roughly right after reset) and 2 am at times. If it was 24 hours I wouldnt be able to do it at 2 am then 9 pm the same day.

each character may open the jump puzzle chests once a day.
jump puzzle chests reset when the server does. Any patch or maint will also refresh your chests.

Allow me to add this: If you are aiming for the badges, then I would recommend you only do those in the high level chars for eternal battleground. Since the downscale on the result of the chest will reward you only a few (4~6 on my level 2 warrior) for your low level chars. Compare with borderland low level chars is better (4~6 as well on my level 2 warrior) compare to the rewards to a level 80.
