Hello,

I’m planning on crafting an ascended weapon for my necromancer who is level 80. He does not have high enough crafting though (only about 200 artificer I think from playing around).

I plan to create an ascended greatsword for him for when I finally unlock all the reaper specialisation abilities. But since I am levelling an elementalist right now as well I thought I could level up to 500 weapon smithing on the ele at the same time as raising his character level.

So my question is, will I run into problems doing this? Are there any requirements for levelling past 400 weaponsmithing that I would need my ele to be lvl 80? Does he need to reach 400 in all disciplines or anything like that first? Are the crafted weapons soulbound? Or anything else I haven’t thought of… I know it will cost quite a lot but I’ll scrounge it from somewhere!

If you have the gold, then no problems at all.

Nope. You can be lvl 500 weaponsmith at lvl 2 if you so desire (actually no because you get exp from crafting but you know what I mean )

Nope. You can have 1 crafting at lvl 500 and 0 at the rest in your whole account if you want to.

Nope. Also it is a good idea to sell some of your crafted items to get gold back to invest into the craft leveling process.
