I doubt its the CPU RAM so the obvious question is: Are you actually running it on 4K resolution? I can imagine GPU RAM running out. 3GB will get eaten up in a jiffy if you run 4K and FSAA.

So follow up question: Do you get the same low memory crash if you run at 1080p without FSAA?

If no, there’s your answer. The gutted GTX870M in the Blade Razer is already running at about half power compared to a full desktop GTX780 which will slow to a crawl at 4K (roughly 30-40% of 1080p fps).

you know what! let me check what happens turning off FSAA. im not sure iv actually tried that so thanks for pointing that out!
