Guild Wars 2

Just a quick shout out of respect to players who do their best to help noobs and compleat idiots like myself. Seen several of these about, but never as many as I have seen on Dragonbrand.

I’ve seen people almost stymie their own games to reply to others with helpful advice, constant shout outs of where chest events begin, and general friendliness of a type I have never seen on any other game. Folks coming from half a map away to heal others.

Special respect to the guys (one was Grit, cant remember the other) in WvWvW yesterday who were giving me encouragement to get the last couple of points I needed for world completion, even complimenting me when I played a very minor role in a point defence.

So, this thread then is for shout outs to those people who deserve respect and thanks, feel free to add your own!

Dragonbrand is a friendly server, has lots of people who are kind and helpful.
We’re not the best at PvP but we like making folks feel welcome.

I’m on Davona’s Rest. I underestimated the strength of a group of mobs, and I was downed in the middle of them. A group of characters my own level were passing by and they saw my state and came to clear out the mobs and revive me.

Small acts of kindness like this happen all the time. It makes me want to pay it forwards.
