Guild Wars 2

hey, i played gw2 back in 2012 and i enjoyed it, i haven’t played come the start of 2013 and now that i am not as busy during christmas break i wanted to give it a try again. what server do you think is suitable for a casual player like me? i plan to do the dragon events again and maybe a little pvp but not exclusively. i’m looking for a server with guilds that still accept returning players (i might even be considered new)

Depends if you plan to play WvW or not. A new system called Megaserver has been implemented which mixes all the servers on PvE maps but does try prioritise putting you into maps with Guild/Server/Friends/Party. So if you’re mainly focused on PvE/PvP then pick the one you like the name of and off you go.

Also be aware that Tequatl was revamped last year and is no longer a stand next to his foot and stab him till he falls over. Well it kinda still is but there’s a bit more to it!

I’d like to invite you to Ehmry Bay; a US server with great folks, several very nice guilds, active WvW playerbase and quite some PvP fanatics.

I personally am a member of Woes; a guild accepting all players from all places and with all interests. I joined this guild on my day 1 of GW2 and have been a member of it since. You can’t go wrong with this guild imo.

So, if a US server with great community is what you’re looking for, you should be able to call EBay your new home!

If you’re from the EU, then do not change server at all.
On every server there are friendly people!

So the server should not be a problem.

If you’re looking for a guild:
I’d suggest you check out the website in my signature, We’re an Dedicated PvE guild with some players also doing PvP.

you really helped me a bunch, i also read up on the mega server after reading it from one of the posts above so i guess any server would be fine.
