Hello GW2 Community

Today I pick up a new copy of the game (Heroic Edition) It was only $25,00 so may as well.
I just have some questions to ask and I would very much appreciated If you can take your time to answer them.

Question 1 – What Is currently the best/populated server?

Question 2 – What Is the best or easy race for beginners? (NOTE) – I did play this game before but never got to far Into It.

Question 3 – What Is the fastest way to level up?

Question 4 – What Is the best or easiest way of making money?

Question 5 – Anyone willing to help an old returning player, I’m mainly looking for laid back guild, friends, friendly and helpful.

I have a few more questions to ask.

Question 1 – If I wanted to change home world, all I have to do Is delete my characters?

Question 2 – If I delete my characters, and change worlds, well I still have my bank stuff, account bound Items?

Question 3 – Are there any guilds out there, that don’t require 100% rep w/e they mean by that? The current guild I’m In requires all your characters to be In guild, others worlds I can’t join other guilds.

Question 4 – Are rangers any good?

Question 5 – What’s the fastest or easiest class to level, melee and range wise.

Question 6 – What’s the fastest way to level, besides EoTM which Is fun but takes forever 3 hours.

Question 7 – How Is crafting for leveling, I don’t have very much good 3G, also If I delete my accounts will I lose all my metatarsals?

1 – EU or NA? Servers only matter for WvW now as the megaserver system they’ve put into place merges all servers in PvE and sPvP. The higher ranking servers on the leader boards are the more active WvW servers. Here’s one of the ranking sites that should give you an idea – http://mos.millenium.org/matchups

2 – Race is purely aesthetic so there’s no real easy or hard. Which race do you prefer?

3 – To help you re-learn the game and to learn your class for the first character or two I’d recommend PvE exploration. Do hearts, events, complete maps etc. Otherwise a mix of crafting and Edge of the Mists will probably be the quickest but it probably won’t be the best overall to re-learn the game.

4 – Dungeon farming, Silverwastes (a new level 80 map), Edge of the mists karma train, TP flipping.

5 – EU or NA? Otherwise check out the Looking For section of the forum.

2. Other than aesthetic the only “advantage” would be their size. For jumping puzzles and such Asurans work really well since they are small and easier to look around. Norns and Charr, even the small ones, tend to be on the bulky side and may impair your visual in the smaller spaced puzzles. Humans and Sylvari vary depending on how tall/small and thin/bulky you make ’em. Professions/classes are what are considered to be easier or harder depending on your play style.

3. If you have small fortune laying around crafting can get you up to 80 in a matter of hours. Realistically, as mentioned above, Edge of the Mists (EotM) is going to be your most reliable way to level up while still giving you practice with your chosen class. If you’re looking to do anything in PvE, I too recommend working on completing maps. If your focus is PvP or WvW map completion isn’t as important.

Here’s two links that you’ll find useful. The Returning guide covers mostly patch notes and Spark Notes the Living Story timeline. The new player guide is more core reads such as game mechanics, tutorials, and general suggestions for game play.

First, bumping is bad and could have shut this thread down of a mod felt like it.

Second, adding additional questions here would be a lot easier than scrolling back up to the top for those willing to answer the new ones you have.

Or pay the gems. You do keep any stuff in your wallet and bank. So unless you are chasing WvW, there really isn’t a reason to change worlds. Remember the world you want to transfer too needs to have space.

Find a better guild. Since you can belong to five on your account it’s kind of rude to be so possessive.

Yes, don’t believe the hate. That had more to do with how players were playing them.

After seeing the next question there is nothing I could say since your definition of fast leveling is way different than mine.

Ha ha ha … wait you’re serious. Three hours is to slow.

Material Storage is part of your bank and that follows you. As for earning XP with crafting, the amount is listed in the wiki and varies based on your current crafting level.

Another question, I’m currently on Sorrows Ferecne, what are some good servers to join for WvW, like EoMT ETC. I want a server that gives those bones.
