Hello all:)

I havent played GW2 for a long time now, and i want to get back into it
Ive got a guardian wich is around lvl 50. My main goal is to get into PvE endgame (when i know the ins and outs of the game)

But Im thinking of making a fresh start with a new class. So, wich class is bassicly a “easy” class to play and to master? I like Ranged classes. Ive read some good things about Necromancers.

Also are there any guilds who are recruiting new or returning players?

Thanks in advice.

I enjoyed leveling my necros; they were one of the classes I found easiest to do.

Ranger is decent too, with the right pet.

Mesmer is very…slow until you get about half way through and start getting a decent amount of traits and skills unlocked. Then the play livens up a bit.

Ele can be very confusing for some people with all the attunement swapping and such. I can’t say that I recommend staff for leveling (though I have done it).

I’m sort of “meh” on Revenant. Probably due to the fact that I haven’t spent extensive time on the class. I’m still trying to get into the hang of swapping legends and swapping weapons for this class.

Right now, most people would probably tell you Necro and Rev would be the easiest, most face roll options. Ranger would probably be the next in line. Mes and Ele take a bit more learning and thought. At least, imo.

My guild is just me for the time being, otherwise I would extend the offer.

Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.

Zeekerous, there is a separate LF guild thread, if you want to seriously hunt for a guild. SoR is always looking for more players for pve on NA servers, but you can find our add on the other forums as well. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/community/lookingfor

As far as class, to many people ask this open ended question. Easy is perspective, so to some mesmer is easy while others mesmer is hard.... that being said, I recomend just jumping into a few toons and testing the water. Thieves and Revs have very different mechanics that may turn you off (or on) right away. The bottom line is play what makes you happy, and to do that you just have to experiment. If you need more info on classes, I defer to the sub forums on classes.... everything you could possibly want to know there.
