Guild Wars 2

So I haven’t played for about a year (or more). Fractals had just come out. How far behind would I be and is it even feasible to start running dungeons/fractals at this point or is everyone on to some other endgame content?

This game isn’t like other MMO’s. There isn’t much of a gear creep. ArenaNet has made it pretty clear that Exotic will stay perfectly viable for a long time. That being said, Fractals are still end game. They have also introduced Ascended armor and weapons. While the armor has slightly higher stats, it requires an immense amount of time and resources. A casual player like me wouldn’t even begin to consider crafting a set. It just isn’t required. Exotic will still be more than enough to even play in high-end WvW, if you so desire.

Right now, The new story content is a bit tougher than Orr, but it is still level 80.
