I’m returning to the game to give it one more try, but as I am standing here I’m completely clueless of what to do.

I’m on Sorrow’s Furnace server, and I ran around Orr to find this place completely deserted as oppose to it being the most populated area while I was still playing. So I read up the next patch note since the day I left, I went to Southsun Cove… yet this place is a barren wasteland.

I can’t help but wonder, where is everyone gone off to nowaday? Is there a secret gathering place or is my server just emptied?

Most people in Orr gather around the Pentinent/Shelter/Jojast event chain.

Sorry, it’s been months, where is that exactly?
I’ve only been to Straits of Devastation, never traveled beyond.

Also keep in mind, due to the guesting implementation and paid world transfers now, a lot of bandwagoners moved to high tier servers for wvw purposes. So if you are in a bottom tier, it may be more populated to guest in Jade Quarry or something if you want allies.

I suspect a lot of people are doing instances (dungeons etc) especially since Fractals of the Mists was added – it has a nice progression-y feel to it for those who like that, and keeps people busy.

If you want to find people, I recommend going to Wayfarer Foothills and/or wherever the Flame and Frost living story picks up (that’s this month’s event thing). People will gather around the event content. Hope you can find stuff to entertain yourself!
