Guild Wars 2

So I’m planing to come back to the game after a long break of gaming and I’d like to know hows’ the player base for fresh characters? Am I gonna be able to get some people with me on events and bosses?
Also how are the expansions? For now I plan to get to max lvl new character and play around with it before buying expansions.

There are mega servers so open world is always populated. Also world bosses are run extremely often by large or even map-capped groups. If you’re doing a more out of the way boss or event, just using map chat will get you some buddies 99% of the time.
