Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone.

I’m back on GW2 but i’m alone without my friends so i have to turn to the fabulous community to help me out.

My server feels empty but i only have 2 characters, a lvl 46 elementalist and a lvl 10 hunter. Is this a normal population for me to see around lions arch / my level areas? From launch til when i stopped (months) the population never seemed to turn into such a ghost town.

If i have to move server, I’m in the UK so i’d be looking for a recommendation on what server to move to? (at launch i realized i was on a primarily Russian server!)

Finally, any good places to swing by and look for some people to play the game with? Keeping in mind that i’m a low ish level character i can’t find many / any posts promoting what i’m interested in.

Welcome back.

With megaservers and recent guild changes, servers only matter for WvW. Megaservers populate maps from all servers. If a map is empty it’s because players from all servers in your region aren’t playing that map, or you just happen onto the smallest of the instances. Lion’s Arch isn’t as much of a central hub as it once was before it’s destruction. Things are a bit more spread out there than before.

Populations on servers track fairly well, I think, with ranking in WvW. So here’s a link to EU WvW rankings.
