Hey people!

So I haven’t played for almost 2 years and forgot probably everything. Now im leveling necromancer and wonder what to choose. And so I want to ask is what crafting I should choose (common question I know)? I have couple old alts which have armorsmith, weaponsmith, tailor, jeweler and artificer 350-400. And should I train crafting while im leveling or just wait until my character gets to max level?

Other question is that should I upgrade to Heart of Thorns now when im leveling new character or wait until its max level?

Well if you have armorsmith, weapon smith, tailor, jewler and artificier, then it is not that much to choose from but chef, huntsman and leatherworker.

As for upgrading, well i assume you are not a f2p character, so this means you have core game and access to everything but the new class Revenant. So unless you want to play pvp with the new elite specs before you hit lvl 80 then there is no need to upgrade until you find that you want to make that upgrade.

You don’t have to craft things on the character that will use them so unless you want to delete one or more of those characters there’s not really any reason to repeat a craft, it’d make more sense to level ones you don’t already have.

When you do it is up to you. The only problem with trying to train crafting while you’re levelling up is you may not have enough materials, unless you collected a lot before you stopped playing. Other than that it doesn’t really matter when you do it, so it’s up to you.

- You have the crafting professions you need for necro.
-crafting is considered to be a good way to level up, so if you want to do it, do it before you get to 80
-I believe cooking is cheap if you just want it for the levels.

-There is no need for heart of thorns before you hit 80, but not really a reason not to buy it either. Unless you are not sure if you want to get back into the game permanently.
-@leaa, there was no f2p 2 years ago ^^

Another suggestion that I would give to any returning player: check your alts inventory and your bank, there might be some very valuable stuff like event exclusive items.

Which is why i also specifically said that he probably is not a f2p player, were probably was me adding it since he could actually be on a f2p account anyway even though he had a core game
