Guild Wars 2

I’ve got a level 80 Thief that I boosted through purchasing HoT, so as a result I’ve got a lot of PvE content to complete (both stories, dungeons etc). The problem I have with this game, like most MMO’s, is that I struggle to “get into” them because it feels like much of what I do is a grind. I contemplating going to craft legendarily weapons but not only does it seem like a convoluted process it also seems just like a huge time sink.

I’ve dabbled in WvWvW but zerg just bores me to tears. PvP I ain’t got a clue about as every time I attacked someone I barely did damage albeit they were able to two shot me. PvE is my main interest but it feels that once I’ve done the story, I’m stuck to the grind (unless it’s not as bad as it seems? I really want some of the gear lol).

Suggestions?

roam in wvw, learn how to play in pvp, do meta events in open world, get into fractals, learn raids, log in once a day to do dailies then log out, how you want to play is up to you. So what do you want to do? This game won’t punish you for it. The players are a different story though.

Try fractal raids dungeon, maybe it will interest you
If you like the story so far, try doing the Living World 2 and 3 too

Also, Join a active and fun guild. Having friend always make things looks different even with the same meta or the same map
