Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone! So i haven’t played the game since around November or so, and i want to return to the game but when i log on i am so lost on all of the new content that i have no idea what to do! My guild isn’t active anymore either so i don’t have anyone to help me out! I have 3 level 80 characters who are all geared nicely, or at least what used to be nice as far as i know :P but if there is a guild out there that could possibly help me out in getting back into the flow of the game that would be awesome! a: You are looking for a guild right?? asking in the appropiate secotion of the forum helps a lot. this is the players helping players section. Guild recruiting is only allowed in here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/guilds/guilds

b: Tell us wich server you are on. one of the big changes is that server transfer is not free anymore. You can guest on other servers now. but for guild membership I truly recommend to find a guild on your home server or pay the money to transfer. (guesting doesnt give access to your guild resources if the majority of the guild has a different home server then you have and also locks access to e.g. WvWvW).

c: indeed a lot has changed. too much to summon up here. but to try:
Ascended gear (actually the start was in november, but a lot more has been added)
guildmissions
Flame and frost (tempory content wich ends in bout 5 weeks from now)
fractals (also in november added so you might know)
daily’s are interested casue of laurel with unique rewards
world bosses are a lot more interesting (garantueed rare or above once per day per account)

If it all gets too much for you, gate over to Rata Sum and find the Super Adventure Box (it takes up to a party of five but you can try it fine by yourself, level and stats do not matter at all)!

Flame and Frost content is centred around the Black Citadel, Diessa Plateau and Wayfarer Foothills. This is all more or less a sideshow, rather than something you must play through, so check it out or don’t as is your preference. Most of the other major changes to the game are improvements or tweaks to what was already there in November I think, so you should be able to learn by experimentation – which was always the GW2 way anyway :P

Perhaps a good approach would be to make a new character just to get back into the game and re-play through the introductory stuff? You can always go back to your 80s when you feel like you’re up to speed. And yes, a guild is a good idea (but look around the guild forums and/or be sure to note your server).
