Guild Wars 2

Spent the last few hours trying to sort out where my first guild went, their officers, their debacles.

In the end, I’m still no better off. I tried to search for ‘fan’ and got 4 threads that mean nothing.

I’m almost 6 months away from the game (gone through account recovery twice now) and reading patch notes means almost nothing. I’m looking for a webiste/fansite that can help get me caught up on all the things I’ve missed as well as offer suggestions for ‘graded’ content that’s showed up in that time frame.

Candidly- any advice/help would be appreciated.

I’m hesitant to join a guild at this time. Too soon frankly. I need a ‘readjustment’ period first.

I started writing a topic about exactly this yesterday, because the forum gets at least 2 or 3 ‘returning player’ topics a day and it takes a long time and either a really good memory or a lot of checking the wiki to give a good response, which means they get very few replies.

Unfortunately I decided it was too much for me to take on (I’d have to keep the topic updated) and even keeping it brief the character limit on forum posts would be an issue sooner or later.

I think it would be a really good idea for the wiki to have a page on this, so rather than depending on one person/fan site anyone can update it. Something like Releases but with more info, like any major re-working of professions or when AC was overhauled.

For now though I think that page is your best bet.
