Guild Wars 2

Hi all,

After some time (months) away from GW2, i’ve come back to it. I’ve played a little since HoT with my new 80 Rev, atm doing map & story(Zhaitan).

But my Rev feels a little, clunky and unfinished(minor bugs) and since i dont have that much time, i’ve came here seeking help.

My question, is Rev a good class atm or should i focus on other? I have a Reaper and DH, but i want a fresh start. So among these 3 (Rev, Mesmer, Ranger), what’s the good all around class for PvE and some WvW?

Sorry for asking this not-so-easy question, but i’m out of the GW2 loop information (Updates & etc).

I never really liked to play Revenant. I did play it for some time when they ruled the WvW group fights with Coalescence of Ruin but it got nerfed eventually. The best build for PvE I had most fun with was pure condi rev – all condi equipment, Mace+Axe, Demon Stance.

For PvE Ranger is still easiest I think. I played my Ranger mostly as condi too (dunno why I have 2 condi builds here, usually I avoid condi builds…) with Axe+Torch and Traps. If you got Druid unlocked, its interesting but nothing in PvE requires so much healing.

Revenants are extremely good classes in pretty much all game modes and should not feel clunky to play at all. In wvw specific they are a good class as well. How ever you need to learn how to use the skills and when to use them and also have the right builds.

Reaspers and Dragon Hunters are also good choices, so it is more about what class you feel you can master in a better way if you feel Revenant is to hard.
