run of the revenant gives
(1): +8 to All Stats
(2): +10 to All Stats
(3): +12 to All Stats
(4): +14 to All Stats
(5): +16 to All Stats
(6): Gain 2 seconds of resistance when you use a heal skill (Cooldown: 10 seconds)

does this mean at 5 runes, you get +16 to all stats total?

or +16 PER armor piece with run (which would be a total of +80 to all stats)

or would it be +8+10+12+14+16 = 60

Hi Arenta – the answer to your question is that each +bonus adds to the next, so with 5 items having the same runes on them you would get a total bonus of +60 to all stats etc.

Rune sets like these work best with Celestial type builds, which also have adds to all stats – but it is very much a ‘generalist’ build and you miss out on some of the more ‘interesting’ and fun possibilities going with more focused builds.

What’s not to love about a parrot that inflicts Blind, or an extra necro type minion that proc’s 50% of the time and acts as a nice distraction to draw agro – or inflict that little bit of extra damage if ignored?

ah thanks.
though that does make rune of the traveler look a bit……underwelming..

6 runes for +25% speed and +36 to all stats when i could get +102 power and precision…..or +78 with run of divinity.

do you think it would be worth it to get +25% speed (i’m asking for theif. would using rune of the traveler to open up a slot so i dont need the speed signet be worth it? or would it be best to go for stats and keep the signet?)

does the +15% boon duration affect stealth?

Yes the stats on Rune of the Traveler are a bit underwelming. But the 25% run speed is a huge quality of life that a lot of people prefer. That’s why Traveler sell for 2+ gold, while divinity sell for 29 silver. Traveler isn’t a good combat rune, but the quality of life is good enough for a lot of people. Mostly for people playing open world or WvW roaming. That’s 100% an opinion issue. Do you prefer to have the 25%, allowing you to swap a signet for something more useful or you prefer to have the best stats for combat. Nobody can answer that for you.

Stealth isn’t a boon so no the 15% doesn’t affect it.

Well, it’s not entirely a fair description, all stats actually just means power, precision, ferocity, toughness, condition damage, and vitality.

Rune of the traveller gives +36 to all of those vs 78 from divinity, but, it also gives the equivalent of 150 expertise and 225 concentration plus the movement speed.
