Rune of Tormenting

Hello Guildwars 2 Community:

I have a feeling i know the answer to this, but just to make sure: does the 3-second-intervaled heal of signet of the ether proc the 6th tier of runes of tormenting? I’m assuming “no,” (as that would be overpowered) but I would just like to be sure.

I have not tested it myself, but going off how runes interact with other signet heals, it would not. The effect would only proc upon actually using the signet’s active effect.
