New to the game, and I put the wrong rune into a piece of armor, it wont let me change the rune out, are you able to replace runes multiple times? Or can you only change it once, when you get it?

You can put different runes into a piece of armor as often as you want. However, you can’t remove a rune from an item unless you 1) salvage the item (using a black lion kit) or 2) use an upgrade extractor. So, if you put on different runes, the new ones will cover up the new one and take its place.

Edit: Also, you can only put Superior Runes into exotic armor that’s level 60 or above. If you have an item above level 39 that’s rare/masterwork/fine, you’ll need to use a Major Rune.

Ok thanks, I think I know the problem, I am trying to put a 39 rune into a 35 piece of gear.
