I’m on a quest to find a sage leaf for my cooking. I’ve been around Gendarran Fields and the map the SE dungeon is in multiple times mining all the 3 types of plant nodes that drop the sage leaf. I’m hoping that someone can confirm where they got their sage leaf because I heard a rumor that certain spices have a higher drop rate in certain zones. For instance, of the 5 times I went around Gendarran Fields, I got a lot of Oregano leaves. I want to avoid the trade post even though its ultra convenient. Let me know where you guys/gals found your sage leaf.

Apparently, in Tyria sage is native to the eastern lands around what was once Ascalon. I didn’t have any for my cooking for ages because I hadn’t been out that way, but there are a few herbs you’ll only get out east (in my experience anyway).

So try Fields of Ruin (take the asura gate from Divinity’s Reach to Ebonhawke), I think you should find some there. And dill! I never had any dill, either.

Yes, you’ll also find chilli peppers on the Ascalon maps which don’t seem to drop anywhere else.
