Hey all!, I need some GODM for my ascended. I just disarmed 10 Exotic lv80 and Only got 3 from one of them.

My question is, what is the cheapest way of doing this? Is there a specific Item that is cheap and can be saavaged?

For example, do I get the same chance if I salvage a pair of boots as if i salvage an exotic greatsword?

I’d put buy orders for exotics under 50 silver, buy exotics with dungeon tokens or buy exotics with sigils/runes that cost more than the piece itself and use black lion salvage kits on them. Doing this has gotten me about 200 dark globs over my years of playing

Yes, any exotic has the same chances.
I would suggest to exchange dungeon tokens into cheap exotic armor piece and salvage it, if you don’t like to run dungeons then do PvP dailies and get dungeon weapon/armor boxes and also the tokens and salvage them all.
Also, try to use the best salvage kit available to you, if possible the BLSK.

Yeah I’m doing dungeons for the tokens and salvaging those items. So I’m in the good path. Thanks folks!

If you are using the BLSK things become a bit different because now you can adjust the price based on the upgrade items. Sometimes you can salvage for a profit(assuming the BLSK charge is free).

That is why I said “available to you” and “if possible”. Do not buy BLSK if you don’t have it.

^ This. My limit actually is under 45 silver .. with the ectos you get from salvaging
you seldom have a loss, and sometimes even make some profit.

Oh .. and don’t use BLSK for that cheap stuff .. only mystic salvage kit or master.

It’s worth mentioning that Twister in a Jars can’t be salvaged, which is why they can be much cheaper than other exotics.

You do not need level 80s, which will help a bit, I think it was 76 (or was it 73) that you can go to. There is a bunch of RNG though so you will not always get one.
