Hey

I was wondering what you get when you salvage the ascended items from pvp/wvw?
Just their currency? or anything thats listed on the wikipedia page?

Also are Backpieces considerd accesoirs or? Was wondering aswel what they drop when I salvage them.

Main reason for salvaging ascended is to get Balls of Dark Energy. Otherwise the return on salvaging ascended is very low. Backpacks are similar to trinkets in terms of drops.

Be sure to infuse your rings before you salvage them. It increases the drops from them to the point that it is advantageous to do so.
