Realised I needed to salvage the backpiece in order to get Upper Bound, only when I tried salvaging I received no Spirit of Finite Result. Just a measly 9 +1 infusions, a +5 and 500 Unbound Magic.

Is that supposed to happen? Did they lower the drop rate? Feel cheated out of all the effort needed to go into it and have to pay more than 30g just to craft what I’d already crafted (on top of everything else I still need to do).

That sounds like a bug. The spirit should be a 100% drop. Submit a support ticket in the link in the top right of page and CS will be able to help you

Unbound Magic? That sounds like you salvaged something else.

You have to salvage Finite Result not just someone you applied the skin to.

You know what, I don’t even know what day of the week it is so it’s entirely possible I salvaged a skinned backpiece. Been ages since I made FR I can’t even remember. Thanks. Glad to know it is 100% drop though.

I tried to salvage someone before; they were not pleased.

(Sorry couldn’t resist such a juicy typo.)
