rares / exotic from 70 to 80 lvls, FOR ectos plasm’s..

who got better chance to drop it?

i think black lion can drop up to 3 ectos from rares.. what about masters?

Master kits can also extract 3 ectos from 70+ rares/exotics.

oh nice, so, what’s better in chance to get it?

Don’t know if either is better. I just know I use masters and get plenty of ectos, including clumps of 3s on occasion.

What kind of gear exactly, gives the chance of yielding ectos? Any 70+ yellows or higher only? I’ve been hesitant to use anything higher than basic salvage unless I want the rune/sigil, so I’m not really sure. I’ve never been very sure of the cost effectiveness of the higher tier kits.

I get the kits with karma so their essentially free. The ecto is really random heh. A 78 rare gave me 3 and 2 80 rares have given me nothin

BLSK = 10%
MSK = 25%

Those numbers have been questioned by several that claim to get MUCH better than 10% chance from the BLSKs. I haven’t tested myself though.
