Guild Wars 2

Can someone explain this to me?
It is same item “PVP Forge Shield” in the Mist and in the sPVP map Spirit Watch, but they almost look completely different.
Did ArenaNet made so that items won’t stand out inside sPVP or something?
That seems a bit weird to me…

I think that shield is one that looks different at night. So during the day no face, night time the face shows up. It is the AC shield- I think- and all the weapons are like that from it. I have the staff and it gets a misty smoke at night but nothing during the day.

Yep, that is the same skin as the AC dungeon weapons, which have a different look at night. So it must have been night in the mists but not in the Spirit watch map.
