Guild Wars 2

I am seeing necro and other builds all over the internet talking of using a scepter/dagger for your weapons which I think was allowed in beta but not in live. I tried to use this combo in game and dagger is now a main weapon like scepter. Is this true or am I missing something here?

Dagger can be equipped in either hand for a necro, so just equip the scepter in the main hand, and the dagger in the offhand.

have to try again when I went to put dagger in off hand box turned red and would only go in main slot.

Try right clicking on the dagger and selecting “equip in off-hand”.

I wonder if perhaps there are daggers that can only be used in the main hand? I haven’t seen any, but I guess that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
