When i make a ingame screenshot on ultra quality it looks very different when i watch it in my screenshot library.. quality seems way lower

why?

It’s probably due to the image format — most of them compress or otherwise adjust the image to keep the file size reasonable.

So there is no way to get my screenshots to the highest format?

When I take a screenshot the image is in a .jps file format (not .jpg). From what I can find .jps is a stero image. When viewed “normally” it looks blurry (colors not aligned). 3D glasses may help, but I want to use a screenshot for my desktop wallpaper.

What I think I have to find is some software that converts .jps stereographic image into a high-rez normal .jpg or .bmp image. I’ve been using Free JPSViewer to see the images. I’m on a PC by the way.

@Starlifter: There is both the ability to take .jps and .jpeg images in game. If you go to your controls menu in the options. You can keybind both under the screenshots sub-section.

@Berkut – thanks, that worked an now I have a new desktop background.

@Magnetron – my screenshots now appear to be the exact same resolution as the game. I hope your issue gets worked out.

My issues has been resolved too, i opened it with another viewer and its the same as ingame.

I used to use windows photo viewer. Thanks
