Guild Wars 2

I know that after 999 screenshots, we are supposed to move the screenshots to a new folder to make room for new ones. I did this (moving them to a newly created, differently named folder). However, now I am no longer able to save any screenshots—there’s just the new full folder and an empty folder named “Screens” in my GW2 folder. New screenshots are not saving anywhere.

Any ideas about what is going on or how to fix it would be great.

Hmm .. rename / delete your local.dat file, maybe there is some obscure setting in
it that prevents GW2 saving screenshots when you reached the 999.

Only idea i have at the moment.

Have you checked in Users>YourName>My Documents>Guild Wars 2>Screens? That’s where they go now, separate from wherever you have GW2 installed.

Also, when you take a screenie in game there will be a ‘screenshot saved to…’ dialogue in your chat window with the folder location. Just check that destination to see if they’re mistakenly going there or confirm that’s the problem folder.
