This is a bit of a first world Gw2 problem, and may – in fact – not even be a problem at all.

Basically I was kinda nearly almost-ish on the verge of sorta being done with my Incinerator, but then, something tragic happens… I find the fractal dagger in fractals of the mist. Ohh no, what a disaster! Now is incinerator truly worth making now that I have quite a beautiful dagger skin already? If only I could swap my gift of incinerator for the gift meteorlogicus (I run scepter dagger normally)…

I could go ahead finish my incinerator and equip it like my original plan was, but I was wondering if I should maybe SELL my incinerator on the tradepost, and buy all the gold related items for meteorlogicus and then craft that? I might have to do a bit of karma farm but I want to know if it would be worth it? Would I turn a profit at the standard rates? Am I overreacting? Please I would like some advice on this topic (:!

Also please don’t call me an idiot for crafting the wrong legendary, I already know I am.

Make incinerator and sell it (~3k gold) then buy the meteorlogicus (~2.5k gold), and you can keep the difference, in the end you’ll have meteorlogicus, fractal dagger and extra ~500g.

Are you including tax? And wouldn’t I still be saving a TON of gold if I crafted the lege scepter?

The tax will reduce a bit the profit margin.
Also, you said that you already have the gift of incinerator ready, so it would be a huge waste.

Yes, the gift of incinerator cost me a bit and I don’t want to just forget about it. Thanks for the advice, I still have lots of time to make a proper decision so I’m not TOO stressed at the moment (:

I would price out making Meteorlogicus vs buying it outright on the Trading Post.

Then figure out how much you’d have to sell Incinerator for to do that and see if it’s possible to do that or if you would need to farm for more gold.
