Okay so i just found out while browsing the bank that my 120ish hours in MF werent for naught (i only got 1 mini for all that work…).
I seem to have stacked up 8 Insignias and 16 Inscriptions.

What i would like advice about is should i sell or save them?
For all i know there is no other way to get this from anywhere else, also no hint from Anet of making it available.

Yet im afraid that they might just pop out with that little suprise (which i guess they should, and im ok with that cause i count in the countless people that arent rich in this game nor have the time/patience to be so).

If that happens then the prices will melt and this ~150g (which would be the first time i even saw that much dosh) would be gone, and that would make me a sad panda.

So what should i do gents, save or sell?

You listed the pros and cons. The last thing is your choice. MF dungeon will reoccur sometime along the line (maybe differently), but Sentinel gear will somehow become available again, so… you can wait until you screw yourself over, or you can abuse the folks trying to stack tankiness with no regard to usefulness.

“Will” is debatable but the possibility isn’t completely out of the question. I think there has been mentions/suggestions of adding some of the temporary stuff as additional possibilities into Fractals of the Mists(it lets people replay things they already created and it even fits the lore).

For MWF specifically, that storyline doesn’t seem complete or at least the story with the Molten Alliance doesn’t seem complete. We’ve never even met the leaders.

So the wise thing to do would be to sell now right?

It’s really your call. My post was very biased in the wording. Eventually, I’m quite sure sentinels will be re-released (at least in the forms of real items entering the game), so you can wait and hope that it’s a pain to get, or just sell now.

I don’t know if the price is going to stay high, because I don’t know if people are going to stay… well… bookah-ish with their decisions in stats.

Well this is gonna be one tough decision…

MF may not return but the insignia might. Probably not anytime soon though. Just sell at a price you think you are satisfied with and don’t look back.

I am almost certain Sentinel gear (along with Azurite) will return at some point in the future. If you intend to use them as investments, it’s just a matter of deciding when to collect your profits before they get re-introduced and their prices tumble.

It doesn’t affect me as I bought up enough Sentinel insignia + Azurite only for my own personal crafting needs. I don’t intend to resell them, so what price they become in the future is of no concern to me.
