Guild Wars 2

Hello,

I purchased Guild Wars 2 for my wife & we are trying to get her on my server Tarnished Coast. It says its full, we are checking periodically but are not hopeful it will change to Very High during peak hours. I plan on setting an alarm for 3 or 4 am my time to hopefully catch the server with some room.

So my question is, if I’m lucky enough to get her on TC, can I log off right away without creating a character & still have her spot “saved” on TC?

I believe world selection is separate and does not require a character to be created to ‘lock in’ the selected world. I am not certain of this, but that would be logical to me.

However, if you just want to be on the safe side you can take an extra 10 seconds after selecting a world to create a character, skip to the end of creation, name it ‘Going Back To Bed’ or random letters or something, spawn into the training zone and then exit the game. Tomorrow you can create a real character and then delete the temp one.
