I’ve searched and cannot find when the fee’s will go back to the normal rate. I thought it was when the WvW season was over. Thanks for any help.

The transfer fees didn’t change this season.

Okay, Thanks. I just came back after taking a year break, and read some old posts about them raising the fee’s for the season. Cheers!

Note that they also did not adjust the Server caps, so transferring is less about cost and more about continually full servers (that you likely have NO chance of getting transferred to).

Far too many players do not understand that a FULL server has nothing to do with how many players are currently logged in, but how many ACCOUNTS are assigned to the home (full ) server.

Ways a FULL server becomes available for transfers:

• A player on the FULL server transfers to another server.
• Anet increases the server cap (has been done in the past but was NOT done this WvW tourney season).
• Anet in some manner purges / moves accounts from FULL servers. (To my knowledge this has NEVER been done….note there are several threads on these boards suggesting / requesting this type of action).

they will never go back to normal, all the gem prices and the gold to gem exchange is just gonna go up from here on out, i mean it’s been going up since the begining of the game

I’m pretty sure OP was talking about server transfer cost changes. Last wvw season the transfer prices were changed during the season and then moved back. This time, however, they were not.
