I’m thinking about transferring servers in order to get my world completion finished but wanted to confirm what I knew about server transfers. As far as I know, they’re still free but there’s a 24 hour period during which you can’t switch servers again, right? Further questions: As long as we wait the 24 hour(?) period of time between each transfer, are the number of transfers unlimited? Is the transfer itself instantaneous, as it was before? What exactly is the period of time we must wait in order to transfer again?

Right at this moment, server transfers are unlimited and free, though you can only move once per 24 hour period. They will, at some point, disable free transfers by attaching a gem cost to them, but enable Guesting; however, you will not be able to access WvW for the map completion portion if you do guest onto a different server.

What Light said is all true, but to add on, if your transferring server for WvW completion, you have to wait for the next match to start (I dunno when that happens, but I think it happens once per week), by that time your new server will have a different borde rmap and a different color….

My server’s been blue and red for the past three or so weeks and what I need is in the green areas and that’s why I’m trying to transfer temporarily. But it looks like the server I’m trying to transfer to is full. I’ll just wait a bit, I guess. Thanks for the help, you two.
