Which server has the highest pve population? Are there players in mid tier zones? How about Jade Quarry? Use to be there so still have some guild inf.

Don’t see anything about default overflow for pve zones. And guesting will not help low pop servers. Leveling up my alts is boring when nobody else is in the zone and I miss the massive events like those that occured during launch.

I want to transfer before they force me to pay for it.

There are alot in Borlis Pass but I can’t really guarantee that they are on all the time.

Can anyone tell me what the Jade Quarry PvE pop is like? I know they have a strong WvW presence.

Why not go try it out. You have 7 days before you can transfer again and it did not sound like the pay to transfer would be active then. I think that tier 1 and 2 have high pops. I could see tarnished coast having a high pve population. I am on Stormbluff and enjoy it.

I was on stormbluff, just transferred to IOJ. Both seem decently populated, never had any issues on SBI

Yeah, I’m willing to give a few servers a try. Just wanted an idea of which are the most populated servers so I don’t have to fly blind.

Leveling on an empty server sucks. I was really hoping they would announce that default overflow for all pve zones was coming. Guesting will not help empty servers and guesting will not trigger the massive zone events that are so much fun.

You seem pretty set to try out JQ so I would go there first… personally being on SBI there is no way I could go there myself lol. I have built a hate for them and love to kill the JQ people :P

If you do not like it I highly recommend SBI. I have been here since headstart and it is a great server imo.

Judging by the distribution of posts I’ve seen about difficulty reaching a server because it’s listed as “Full”, I’d bet Tarnished Coast is #1, even before any of the top ranked WvW servers. But what TC is “Full” of is Roleplayers, which are definitely not the right crowd for everyone.

Roleplayers are cool. Can be funny too. They also tend to level up plenty of alts. Didn’t know Tarnished was the RP server.

I’ve played on Borlis Pass since the beginning so I cannot compare it to anything, but I’ve found it to be well-populated on most maps with cool people who are usually willing to help out.

But tarnished coast has a decent amount of rpers to ruin the pve fun.

Very accurate, in my observation. I’ve had a few friends and guildmates transfer here after starting elsewhere, and they’ve consistently expressed about how weird it is that TC’s low and mid level zones are still so popular, rather than the whole server being packed into Lion’s Arch and level 80 zones since a couple weeks after launch.

I’ve been on Tarnished Coast since I started playing and love this server. Huge pop, great people, tons of PvE going on, and WvW is always a blast with the dedicated WvW guilds here. Not an RP’r myself but you can’t walk in Lion’s Arch or Divinity’s without tripping over some RP. Not sure about TPvP, haven’t run any, but there’s always a decent crowd in Mists running sPvP. Overall, I highly recommend TC if you’re still looking for a new home.

Don’t know if it has the highest PvE population, but Desolation is very active, including the low and mid level zones.
