How long will the shadow skins be available for the 5 ticket price? Will the sale be ending in a few hours, or will it last until the big patch next week?

How are we to know how long the sale will be available?

It says ‘the last week’, so I would guess it is until the next release/patch. If concerned, probably should get them earlier than later.

Good luck.

There’s no predicting BL ticket skin availability. The only thing we know for sure is that one-ticket skins become three-ticket skins (or briefly, two-ticket skins) for a while before being removed. Reintroduced skins cost 5 tickets usually, although occasionally they can be found in BL chests as rare or uncommon drops.

Usually, a new story chapter means a new skin set, but that’s not consistent. Usually, 5-ticket reintroductions last at least 2-3 weeks; some have lasted a bit longer.

Further more, review TP prices before spending 5 tickets on a skin. Shadow skins range from 80g (lowest buy order) to 250g (highest sell offer). Keepsake skins are 28-41g. So five tickets can get you ~150g after taxes — that’s enough to put in aggressive buy offers on half the shadow skins. (That calculus varies each day and depending on what’s available for one ticket or five — keepsake skins have some of the worst values of all times; other skins have been worth twice as much.)

And finally, sometimes the TP price of the skins drops after they are removed from the ticket vendor. This happens because people invest in them, thinking there will be a huge spike in price and then they realize there’s a glut on the market. It can take a year or three before such investments are profitable.

tl;dr

  • Buy now if you really want the skin.
  • Put in an aggressive buy order if you just want the skin, but aren’t willing to pay a premium.
  • Check TP prices. Sometimes, it’s “cheaper” to buy five one-ticket skins, sell them, and buy the five-ticket skin.
