Ok guys. I have a engi. Level 80 made a hybrid power condition build works lovely for how I play.

What I want is a good side project class. A class I can just play with ease and level up slowly.

You could try Warrior. I love mine and I’ve never had trouble killing enemies. With his strong attack and sturdy defense, I’ve been able to solo most of the game without much stress.

you could try ele as they can be built to do the most damage but then they become very fragile, but id say they play most like engineer with their conjured weapons and multiple attunement swaps.

My engineer was the first to level 80. My second was my guardian. It went really quick. Not cause the engineer is that bad, but cause the guardian is that good. I really had fun and it was very relaxing. A warrior is a good second suggestion, but as I understand you want a relaxing playstyle, a guardian can be build pretty tanky from the start, making it a -relax, press skills and kill- class. Maybe not as fast as other classes, but very relaxed
