So I’ve been running this WvW build for quite awhile now on my warrior and am mostly content with it. Feel free to take a look at it, especially if you’re gonna leave an answer.

However there has been one aspect to it that I’m doubtful of lately. I am questionative about the Sup Sigil of Leeching I run on my greatsword. Now some of you may be wondering why the heck I even have that sigil on my GS, but for me, a lot of the use of my GS is for kiting. I find that with the GS I can make a quick getaway ooc with it, and the healing helps me in the effort. Now here are the issues.

1. Sometimes when going kiting I don’t even hit my target as I leave, hence not getting the heal. The plus side of not getting the heal though is I can get back into combat sooner because I can count on that heal boosting my health up just a bit more, basically needing to kite for a little less longer.
2. Sometimes I don’t use the GS for kiting even. What I’m saying is sometimes I switch from my axe, which is my weapon I use a little bit more, to pull a Bull’s Charge HB combo, or a whirl attack for a short burst for example. Many times in these instances I don’t really need the heal, which is about 1500-2000 for me (not checked).
3. This is only minor, but the BLTP certainly seems to find Sup Leeching useless not too useful seeing as it’s only a few silver.

After seeing all these downsides for me, what I’m wondering is if Leech is really the sigil for me. I am running mainly a zerk build, that I mostly focus on keeping pressure on my target, but of course when I get into outnumbered fights or other zerkers, I need to kite a little bit. These things aside I want to get your guyses (nice spelling) opinion on whether I should even use this sigil.

NOTE: The other sigil I’m mainly looking at is the Sigil of Strength to somewhat make up for the Forceful Greatsword trait that I don’t run, but I’m open to any other suggestions on sigil choice

Anyway thanks in advance for the help guys, you’re quite a soldier if you read all of that. Stay awesome!

As a direct replacement for Leeching I would use Renewal, Water or Blood. They heal for less and deal less damage but Renewal works without requiring you to hit something and it also heals allies. Water and Blood would be more suitable for your primary weapon.
