Q:

I was just upgrading my armor and weapons and bought some sigils and runes since they seem useful and are pretty cheap. All of them went where they were supposed to, but I have a major sigil of corruption that refuses to go into the staff I bought. The other sigil of that type went into a scepter, and I can’t see anything unique about the staff. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Thanks.

A:

Sigils have a level requirement.
This requirement is the level off the staff. So a sigil with requirement level 60 dont go on a staff with requirement level 59 or lower.

That was the first thing I checked, but I was able to put a major rune into a ML38 greatsword with no problem, and this is also ML38.

EDIT: Okay, I think I put the sigil in the wrong greatsword. Maybe that’s it, and why I am so confused. Thanks for the replies.

Afaik putting a lvl60 sigil into a lvl1 weapon works. But you can’t equip it until you’re level 60.
So if you want to insert the sigil while having the weapon equipped, might fail.
