How much critical chance does 25 stacks equate to? Trying to decide whether I’m better off just going with permanent 5% boost or trying to get the stacks up.

25 stacks of superior sigil grants 250 precision. ~21 precision equal 1% (@ lvl80). So a full stack grants +>10% critical chance, even affecting your minions.

Around 12 at lv80 using the Superior version but it all gets scaled(well it’s your precision that is getting scaled). Perception should always give more critical chance than accuracy assuming you have the full stack otherwise it has no reason to exist.

I used a Sigil of Perception on my longbow while running a power/crit ranger

With a full stack, it brought my crit chance to well over 60%, so 2 out 3 arrow shots were crits, If you have a high crit damage % as well, this can be a lot of DPS. The stack stays up with weapon swaps as well.

The down side is every time you change map, or are downed, you need to build the stack again …

And if u play wvw or pvp it’s better to choose constant damage mostly, since as said, stacks remove on downed state.
