For those of you who have done the math, which offers the bigger boost in damage?

i think I asked a similar question a while ago but i can’t remember what the answer was. I guess it depends how much power u have, but in general force > bloodlust unless u have full stacks that you can maintain. Then again, you can also have a bloodlust wep on a 2nd set and a Force sigil on your main set (unless you are an Ele that only uses one set, in which case bloodlust is def not worth it).

I’m sure sigil of bloodlust gives more once fully charged, but gives less if only partially charged. at how many stacks are they the same depends on your power, as nagr’s link describes pretty well imo. kinda like sigil of the night: gives more if night time, gives less if day :P

Depending on what you’re doing, it’s sort of fun watching bloodlust stacks build up.

It used to be the case (a few months ago) that you would not lose your bloodlust stacks even if all weapons with a bloodlust sigil were disarmed. So you could build 25 stacks with bloodlust weapons and then arm sigil of force weapons. Now you have to always keep at least one bloodlust sigil up or the stacks disappear (Anet has that also mean you need a bloodlust sigil on at least one of you under water weapons to avoid losing your bloodlust stacks when you go under water – an extra 10g for the superior sigil).

In PvE there are few scenarios where bloodlust is better than force since you won’t kill too many non-boss mobs.

And in WvW I prefer it since its cheaper and I don’t have to worry about stacks. Also if you ever GvG, stacking sigils are not allowed there.

I think force is estimated to be worth 15-20 bloodlust stacks or so but I’m not really sure.
