Does the skill empowering might (give might on crit) stack with sigil of str (30 percent chance to gain might on crit)

Also why do max stat rare backpacks (not including ascended i heard their slightly better) have such low stats compared to everything els at lvl 80?

Yes they do work together. I tested this out myself.

Guardian GS auto attack + empowering might + sigil = 7-12ish perma stacks of might. Of course it depends on your crit, but I rarely dropped below 5 stacks using normal auto attack with around 30% crit. With multiple targets and higher crit it keeps getting better.

and the sigil can be on my focus correct? ( i put a 5 percent increased dmg sigil on my sword)

for the sigil on your sword, i assume it’s the flat +5% dmg, sigil of force? if so, then it should stack.

just an extra tidbit, know that on crit sigils or on swap sigils share the same cooldown, whether stated or internal. i.e. if one effect is proc-ed, the other won’t. since your sword sigil is a passive one, the sigil of str on ur focus shoudl work as intended. i am under the assumption that for sigils, they work on all skills as long as that weapon is equipped and active. have read this and haven’t really done specific testing though.
