I have an upgrade medal thing that changes the appearance of an item but with the same attributes.
Tried it on two similar swords but did not work. Placed the two swords in the box but red out will not let me change.
Any ideas please ?

are you talking about the Transmutation stone?

try only using items in your inventory and drag them into the “box”.
supposedly you can’t transmutate anything that you have equipped (although they should have fixed this in the last patch).

Yes working from inventory did not work before or after equiped.

are they both the same type of sword, for example greatswords? if not then that could be why it won’t let you transmute them, was just a thought

Same sort of sword and both fine.

hmm, i’m at a lost at the moment in regards to what could be causing the problem then. maybe post a screenshot of the items you’re trying to transmutate?

Are you using a Basic Transmutation Stone (yellow colored) on level 80 items? If that’s the case, it’s not gonna work. You can only use them on level 79 items at the most.

both are only level 20 items

Did you just try to drag the swords into the transmute screen and then press the transmute button? If so, you’ve got to choose appearance (top part of the transmutation screen, either pick left or right sword), stats (again, pick left or right sword) and upgrade (left or right). Only once all 3 options have been picked you can hit transmute.

Ah yes after a lot of fiddling I worked it out. Not very intuitive is it ?
