As per topic title. i want to know what kind of weapon hes holding, because when he attack it looks awesome. And i don’t think it is a volcanus because the way he attack there’s a wave thingy (effect).

To me it looks like a fire whip. Like a fire version of the ele air skill.

I’d pay gems for that flame whip. but what weapon type would that be? 1H sword? it’d be a rough choice, but I’d definitely replace my Jormag’s Breath with a flame whip.

It is a flame whip and several of the Molten Alliance guys had some too. There’s another open world boss somewhere that has one if I recall, and I think the champ settler riot guys in southsun also have them now (sure looked like one to me anyway) and yeah I’d totally pay gems for one <read: not black lion keys for a miniscule chance out of a chest….cold hard gems, none of that RNG garbage>

He didn’t always have that whip, either. It came in an update so he’d be less pathetic in a fight.

Aside from the fire, the whip is a lot like the kind the Nightmare Court use. You actually get to use one yourself early on in certain Sylvari stories.
