What is this person wearing? I tried asking them and they did not answer me. I exhausted every search string I could think of and could not identify it.
It looks like necromancer facepaint on top of a norn tattoo with small horns protruding from the forehead. I checked into the character creation options for norn and necromancers as well as the makeover kit options and saw nothing like this.

It’s probably one of the necromancer starter facepaints.

Yep. My female Norn necro has that face mask. It’s my favorite. It might only work on Norns. When I tried to move one to a Sylvari necro it only colored an area on the temples a little.

I think some of the starter masks do change slightly depending on the race of your character.

You might also want to keep in mind that (I think) the majority of the design you’re seeing on the character’s face are Norn tattoos, which the player likely chose to complement the mask.

Actually no. It’s identical to my necro’s face mask and I chose one without facial tattoos because I was planning to use that mask. You can add facial tattoos to it but it tends imo to be too ‘busy’ then.

The fact that the black pattern is part of it makes the mask even more appealing, then.

I have that on my fem norn necro too, probably the most asked about piece of gear on any of my alts.

But what of the horns? That is the piece I am most interested in, and it isn’t costume head gear she is wearing, nor some part of the hair. What are those horns from? Are they part of the trickster demon helm?
