Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone, my main is a level 50 ranger right now and I am slowly starting to get bored. I love the ranger but I don’t like the major importance of the pet, I like it to be all me doing the damage (I know selfish me). Also what might have ruined my experience is that I really have no idea what I’m doing. I add traits to whatever I want, I use my skills lazily, I don’t really know how to add the special things like signets and runes I think ,and I don’t really know anything. I have been researching and I’m thinking about restarting and doing a thief with short bow and D/P. I just need to know those details of the game and some recommend builds for thief, I really just need someone to guide me through the game until I start to catch on and be able to understand on my own. Hit me up in-game if you have questions that need to be answered or help learning the class – I’d post some builds but Thief is an amazing class to experiment with and, after all, these ARE the forums, just check the Thief section if you want a premade build :P

For normal PvE levelling I’d recommend using sword/pistol (power gear) or dagger/dagger (condition gear) with shortbow secondary for both – in my opinion the two most effective and fun weapon sets for Thief levelling.
